LifeLines at Connection Point are designed to support, love, encourage, and provide resources for hurting people as well as those who have already walked through struggles. Our groups are filled with people who care and know firsthand that God has a plan for all of us. Through these LifeLines you will find a safe, confidential place to share your heart, build relationships, with people who can relate to what you are dealing with, resources that provide answers to some of your challenges and, through God’s word, find the reassurance that He is faithful to restore and renew your life.

Boundaries Support

Christians often focus so much on being loving and giving that they forget their own limits and limitations. Have you ever found yourself wondering: Can I set limits and still be a loving person? How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money? Why do I feel guilty when I consider setting boundaries?

Boundaries Support meets the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in B218.

Financial Peace University

With all those payments going out each month, there's nothing left for you. But you can be debt-free and honor God with your finances. Learn how through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University offered twice a year at Connection Point Church. Within the first 90 days of this video-driven class, the average family pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700. These nine lessons will teach you to get out of debt the same way you learned to walk-one step at a time.  In order to attend, a FPU kit must be purchased online at a special discounted rate of $93. We understand that this cost is not affordable for every family, and the church does not want the cost of the kit to hinder anyone from taking the course.

GriefShare is a video seminar series that features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a biblical perspective. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the materials presented during the video. GriefShare, with its biblical, Christ-centered perspective, is an effective tool to help people find or deepen their faith in Christ as they examine soul-level questions about death, dying, their own mortality and eternal life. In our culture, grief and the deep hurts that accompany it are among the most significant spiritual turning points in a person’s life. GriefShare provides participants with tools and a strategy to point grieving people to Christ as the source of their healing. Even mature Christians with a solid faith need ongoing comfort and encouragement during the grieving period.

GriefShare meets the first and third Tuesdays each month at 6:30 pm in room C218. GriefShare facilitators are Nadine Kenney, Chris Reed, and Sherry Merideth. The class is free, but there is a workbook available for $15. Childcare is available.
