Diana and her husband, Jim, moved to Kansas City from St. Louis in 2007 and joined our church family soon after. She joined the FBR staff months later in the summer of 2008. On staff, Diana supports Administration Director Laura Davis, assists our finance department, and uses her passion for women’s ministry as JOY Coordinator.
Diana has two daughters and two sons-in-law, but her life has recently been blessed by two new loves in her life: her first grandbaby born to her daughter, Karen, and being the new owner of two horses with her daughter, Lauren. God has blessed Diana with special friendships in every place her family has lived. So, instead of looking for certain qualities for friends, she tends to ask God, “Is this someone you’re placing in my life?” He very often surprises her, but He never disappoints.
Although there are many scriptures that have been important in her life, Diana depends daily on Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” This is the verse that keeps Satan and his worldly lies away from her!
