1ST-4TH GRADE
Kids express themselves differently than adults, so we offer a unique program for your 1st through 4th graders on Sundays.  You’ll drop your child off in Kid City at 9:30am, where they’ll kick off their morning with music, games, and a large group lesson. Then they’ll break into small groups with other kids their age and gender for Bible study and fun activities that will help your child grow. Afterward, you'll pick up your child so they can join you in worship at 11:00am.

5TH & 6TH GRADE
Your preteen isn’t quite a teenager yet, and they don’t learn the same way as a young child anymore, so we have a special schedule just for your preteen. We offer Bible study classes for 5th and 6th graders at 9:30am upstairs in the preteen room. Afterward, you're preteen will join you in worship at 11:00am.

You’ll drop your child off in Powerhouse where they’ll kick off their morning with music, games, and a large group lesson. Then they’ll break into small groups with other kids their age and gender for Bible study and fun activities that will help your child grow.

5TH & 6TH GRADE
Your preteen isn’t quite a teenager yet, and they don’t learn the same way as a young child anymore, so we have a special schedule just for your preteen. We offer Bible study classes for 5th and 6th graders at 11:00am in B118. Preteens and parents can attend worship together at 9:30am.

MIDWEEK Kids is for 1st-6th graders on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm in Kid City.

MIDWEEK Kids is designed to connect what kids learn on Sunday morning with how they live the rest of the week. Kids will have opportunities to put into action various biblical lessons through service projects, active Bible study and evangelism.

Each month will be themed with a “virtue” like self-control, generosity or hope. This will be the same virtue the 1st-4th graders are studying on Sunday morning. To ensure the kids are learning at the appropriate level, they will be divided into three groups: 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, and 4th-6th grade.

Each child will need a current medical release form on file in order to go participate in any off-campus service projects.

JUNIOR BIBLE QUIZ
JBQ is an opportunity for your kindergartener through 6th grader to learn more than 500 Bible facts and hide God’s Word in their heart. Quizzers meet weekly on Sundays at 4:00pm and compete in quiz matches with other churches one Saturday each month August through March.

The first practice and parent meeting is August 4 @ 5:00pm. Regular weekly practices start August 11 @ 4:00pm.

SECURED AREAS
Kid City classes are located in secured areas. An electronic key card is required to enter these areas (Raytown Campus). If you do not have an electronic key card, see the check-in volunteer for assistance.

ELECTRONIC CHECK-IN
You may check your child in at any check-in computer in a Preschool or Children’s area. After checking your child in, you will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. The child’s tag also contains the parent’s cell number as well as additional information such as allergies.

After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. Parents may choose to send their badge with a family member or friend (9th grade or older) to pick up their child.  

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you will receive a call or text message. Please turn your phone to vibrate in the service so that we are able to reach you if needed. 
 

WELLNESS
Children who have shown signs of fever, vomiting, or other contagious illness should be symptom-free for 24 hours before coming to Kid City.

If a child develops a fever or other symptoms of illness while in our care, parents will be contacted as soon as possible. 

Please note that we are unable to administer medications.
