After serving 48 years in public education as a teacher, counselor, and social worker, Lynne Baker began serving as an independent counselor at Connection Point in 2010. As a counselor, she spends time with individuals, couples, children, and teens to assist them understand how their personal issues can be positively improved for the betterment of their life. Lynne is blessed each time she sees lives renewed with hope, caring, and the knowledge of Christ's love.
In Lynne's spare time, she enjoys making new discoveries about her genealogy, taking day trips with her husband, working out at the ROC Fitness Center, spending time with her family and friends, and rooting on her favorite college teams.
Lynne, who graduated from both the University of Missouri and the University of Kansas, has five college degrees: AA, BS in Education, MA in Counseling, BSW, and MSW. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Columbia College in Columbia, MO, and a member of the Junior Service League in Independence, MO.
