Important Details for the Last Day of Camp

Early Pick-Up:
- Even with some rain, we had a wonderful Day 4! Campers are learning so much about God’s love for each one of us and how God wants us to love another. We can’t believe today is our last day!
- LOST AND FOUND! Our table is overflowing in the Main Lobby. Parents make sure you check this table out for any lost items during drop off and pick up.
- If you need to get a message to our Create-A-Camp staff, call our main line (816) 353-1994 and leave a message with the Receptionist (M-TH). On Friday, email kids@connectionpoint.tv.
- Way to go BOYS for bringing in the MOST shoes and way to go GIRLS for bringing in the most $$$! Please keep the donations coming and help us be a blessing to others who need us. TODAY is our LAST DAY for Create-A-Camp donations. We are collecting pennies and new tennis shoes for two nonprofit organizations called Soles4Souls (national and international) and Milestones Youth Camp (Second Mile Ministries—located in Kansas City.) Before/Aftercare:
- Use the doors under the steeple and follow the signs. If you have used our before/after care, please pay for any unpaid sessions by Friday June 24. When checking in, let our check-in volunteers know if your child will be staying for aftercare that day. Aftercare closes at 6:00 p.m.
Early Pick-Up:
- If you need to pick your child up early from camp, please let us know when you will be picking up your child on the provided Early Pick-up clipboard and make sure your child receives a green wrist band. Let us know what time you will need to pick your child up. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to that time. Early pick-up is not allowed after 12:30pm today due to our Family Night Rehearsal 12:50pm-2:00pm.
Family Night is TONIGHT, June 24, at 6:30pm!
Here’s what you need to know:
- WHO: All campers will present the program. You are welcome to invite as many people as you want – parents, grandparents, friends, aunts & uncles, & cousins. The more the merrier! However, if you have someone who cannot attend, be sure to check out create-a-camp.com website for our livestream option!
- WHAT: The choir will sing (which involves all campers). Performing groups (Dance, Cheerleading, Black Lights, Stomp, Silhouette Dance.) will perform. Arts & crafts classes will display their projects. Other classes, like sports, will be featured in a video presentation.
- WHEN: Friday night, June 24. Campers need to report to the Worship Center at 6:00 pm in their camp t-shirts. PLEASE make sure your child has eaten and take your child to the restroom immediately before bringing them to the Worship Center. The program will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
- WHERE: The Worship Center at Connection Point Church.
- WHY: So you can see what your kids have been learning and doing all week. They will be eager to share it with everyone!
