Romans 6:15-23

Today’s message challenged the church to understand that we cannot serve two masters - we must choose between sin or righteousness. Key points include:

• You serve either righteousness or unrighteousness - There is no neutral ground or middle option
• Transformation comes through daily falling in love with Jesus - Not through willpower alone
• Remember what you've been saved from - Reflect on your old life to appreciate your new identity in Christ
• The central message: Stop trying to live for two masters. Choose to serve God wholeheartedly and be transformed through that relationship.

1. Many of Paul’s letters opened with “Paul, a Servant of Christ Jesus.” When you evaluate the way you live your life, what would your salutation say you’re a servant of?
2. What are some practical ways we can shift from serving ourselves to truly serving Christ in our daily lives?
3. What does it practically look like to fall in love with Jesus daily, and how is this different from simply trying to be good through willpower?

1. The pastor used the example of a gaming station gift to show how we should respond to God's gift of salvation. How should we treat the special gift God has given us?
2. Romans 6:16 says we choose who we obey - either sin or God. What are some ways kids can choose to obey God instead of disobeying Him?
3. We used to be "slaves to sin" but now we're "free from sin." What does it mean to be free from sin, and how does that make you feel?

Thanks to God: Heavenly Father, thank You for rescuing us from the slavery of sin and death. Thank You for the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ, who paid the price we could never pay. Thank You for making us new creations and giving us Your righteousness instead of our own.
 
Ask from God: Lord, help us to choose You as our Master every single day. Give us strength to resist the temptation to serve two masters. Help us to be weapons for Your righteousness in this world. Transform our hearts daily as we fall more in love with You.
 
Commitment to God: We commit to laying down our old ways of living and serving You wholeheartedly. Help us to remember what You've saved us from so we can live with gratitude and purpose. Use us to be a problem for darkness in this world. We choose You as our Master, today and always.
