Main Idea: Although God is holy, He draws us into His presence. (Exodus 3)
Summary
In Exodus 3, we read the familiar story of Moses and the burning bush. God was speaking through the fire to Moses. This morning, what we drew from this occurrence is that Moses moved towards God, and Moses trusted God. If we want to see change, we have to have faith in God (trust Him), and we must move towards Him. God sent Moses to deliver the Hebrew people from slavery. This was preparing the scene for a bigger moment of deliverance from Jesus. God sent Jesus to deliver us from sin and death. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, if we call Him Lord, we have been given His righteousness and can come before God confidently, unlike Moses.
