Our Hope Network Food Pantry provides essential food, clothing, and home items to families in our area throughout the year. Through our Winter Hope Drive, we are asking you to help us prepare for the upcoming season by donating some of the winter essentials listed below. Pick up an empty grocery bag before you leave church today, and follow the donation instructions on the bag. If you’d like to use your own bag(s), you may bring donations to the main lobby through Sunday, October 20. Thank you for helping to provide hope to our community this winter!

You are invited to a Milestone 2: Bible Discovery church event on Sunday, October 6! We will honor our 1st graders, parents, and grandparents during our 9:30am worship service and equip families with resources to engage in this important milestone in your child’s life and your family’s legacy. Go out for a night to take a well-deserved break, knowing your kids are safe and having a blast. Connection Kids is hosting a Parents Night Out on Friday, October 18, from 5:30-8:00pm for kids birth-5th grade. They’ll enjoy food, drinks, games, movie time, and a lot of fun! Your night out will help send our young people to camp this summer! Cost is $10 per child, plus we will have a donation jar if you should choose to give more. Register your kids by 1:00pm on Thursday, October 17, at connectionpoint.tv/events.

Who am I? The question of identity is always in the back of our minds, and it’s currently at the forefront of social conversations. But the first question we need to ask is: Who is God? Discover who you are in light of who God is as you study the book of Ephesians in the next weekday Bible study for women. Ephesians, a seven-session study by Jackie Hill Perry, Jasmine Holmes, and Melissa Kruger, begins Wednesday, October 23, at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Workbooks are available for $22. Sign up for the study and reserve childcare at connectionpoint.tv/events.

Looking for a place to work behind the scenes? The Production Team is a great place to serve even if you don’t have any experience! It takes 10-15 volunteers each week to provide audio, video, and slides for our in-person and online worship experiences. Most of our current volunteers came in with zero experience and now they are pros, which means you can do this too! To learn more about serving, talk to a Production Team staff member or volunteer or email production@connectionpoint.tv.

The next Triple L meets at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 15, in the Atrium. Join us for fellowship, music, a devotion, a chicken strips lunch, and a program featuring music by Jeff Rudloff. Cost is $7 for lunch and the program. Reserve your spot by calling Barbara Griffin at 816-847-7138.
