Welcome!

Is this your first visit?

At Connection Point, it is our hope that you find a meaningful connection with Jesus and with others. If this is your first time here, we’d like to meet you and give you a FREE GIFT to say thank you for checking us out.

If you are watching online, text HELLO to 816-934-4488 and we'll send you a digital gift.

If you are with us in person, text CONNECT to 816-934-4488 and then stop by the Connect Center in the lobby after the service so we can say hello.

Thanks for choosing to worship with us today!

What's next?

Whether this is your first visit or you’ve been attending for years, you may be asking yourself “Where do I go from here?” You’re ready for your next step. Maybe you’d like to talk to someone about following Christ, joining a LifeGroup, becoming a church member, getting baptized, or something else. Stop by the Connect Center to talk with us or visit us at connectionpoint.tv/nextsteps.

Family 4th Celebration

Save the date for a full day of community and celebration with your Connection Point family on Sunday, July 2. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Regular Morning Schedule
We will kick off the day with our normal Sunday schedule with our worship service at 9:30am followed by Life Groups at 11:00am.

Freedom Celebration
The evening celebration will begin indoors at 5:00pm with a special service to celebrate our faith and freedom, featuring patriotic music led by choir and orchestra, a salute to the armed forces, and more. Childcare will not be provided for this service. We encourage families to attend together.

Free Dinner & Outdoor Family Fun
Following the Freedom Celebration service, join us outside for a free dinner and family fun, with inflatables, outdoor games, and opportunities for you and your family to connect with each other and with your church family.

Attention Veterans & Active Duty
If you are a veteran or on active duty and can still wear your dress uniform, we would like to invite you to participate in this year’s Freedom Celebration. If you are interested in being involved, contact Beth Cox at bethc@connectionpoint.tv or 816-778-1132.

Begin inviting friends and family now! Learn more about our Family 4th Celebration at connectionpoint.tv/events.

Milestone Sports Camp

Milestone Sports Camp brings together children in the inner city to learn about Jesus through sports and familiarizes them with Milestone Youth Center so they have a safe place to come through the year to further their relationship with Christ. This year’s Milestone Sports Camp for elementary, middle, and high school students is July 24-27. It takes over 100 people to make camp great. Here are just a few ways you can help connect inner-city kids to Jesus:

Volunteer. Whether you can only serve part of the day or the whole week, we encourage you to volunteer! We need volunteers to drive the bus, serve meals, check-in campers, clean, pray, lead small groups, and more.

Donate Shoes & School Supplies. These kids play hard all summer and will need a new pair of shoes and school supplies as the summer winds down and they head back to school. Help set these kids up for success by donating new tennis shoes in child and adult sizes and new school supplies. Donations can be dropped off at the Connect Center in the main lobby or at the reception desk in the ROC during the week.

Visit connectionpoint.tv/milestone to learn more about these opportunities and the many other ways you can get involved.

Create-A-Camp

Create-A-Camp is a mash up of all things kids love! It is Vacation Bible School, Fine Arts Camp, and Sports Camp all rolled into one. No more running all over town week after week, paying fee after fee to get your kid involved in summer activities. We’re having one awesome week-long camp where your kids will get strong biblical teaching as well as quality instruction in sports and arts. Create-A-Camp is August 7-11 for kids who have completed PreK-5th grades. Register your kids at create-a-camp.com.

Volunteer!
It takes over 100 volunteers to make Create-A-Camp possible. Would you like to be part of the team? No experience required. We just ask that you are 6th grade (22-23 school year) or older and have a heart to serve and have fun with some amazing kids at camp. All volunteers 18 and older are required to fill out a background check and attend a training session before Create-A-Camp. Sign up at create-a-camp.com.

Triple L

The next Triple L meets at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 20, in the Atrium. Join us for fellowship, music, a devotion, a baked chicken lunch, and a program featuring Tom Hilton and Larry Jones. Cost is $7 for lunch and the program. Stay after lunch for games. Reserve your spot by calling Barbara Griffin at 816-847-7138.
