Who can join Connection Point?
Membership at Connection Point Church is open to anyone who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of their sins and has been baptized by immersion by a body of believers of like faith and practice.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ and been baptized by immersion, we can help you with these spiritual decisions. At the end of each service an invitation is given where pastors and counselors are available to talk with you, pray with you, and answer any questions you may have, or you can meet a counselor at the Connect Center on Sundays. You may also call our pastoral office during the week at 816-353-1994. If you'd rather connect online, click here.

How do I join Connection Point?
There are three ways you can join our church family:
1. Profession of Faith & Baptism
A profession of faith is simply stating that you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior, meaning that you have placed your faith alone in Him for the forgiveness of your sins. This profession of faith is shown through believer’s baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:18-20). Baptism doesn’t get us into heaven; it is an act of obedience and a public testimony of our acceptance of the gift of salvation offered through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
2. Letter
You are a believer, who has been baptized by immersion and are transferring your membership from another church of like faith and practice.
3. Statement
This is your personal statement that you are a believer, have been baptized by immersion, and wish to become a church member.

Associate Member
Believing in the importance for a new member or new believer in Christ to understand the biblical doctrines embraced by Connection Point Church, as well as its various ministry opportunities, all new members will be considered associate members until completion of Starting Point, our new member class. After completion of Starting Point, associate members will become active members with all the associated rights and privileges, including voting at the church business meetings.
What's my next step?
The next step to becoming an active member of Connection Point Church is to participate in a new member class called Starting Point. Starting Point is an opportunity for new members, and those thinking about membership, to spend time with our pastors and learn more about what Connection Point believes and where we are headed. It will also help us get to know you and help make you feel at home. Fill out the form on this page to let us know you are ready for your next step.
