The purpose of Connection Worship is to honor God by preparing and prompting His people in corporate and individual expressions of adoration. What does that mean exactly? It means everything we do in Connection Worship is for the glory of God. We play and sing together in worship and praise on a weekly basis, which helps fuel our daily worship as individuals.

Our adult choir leads in worship each Sunday morning and forms the nucleus for the annual Heart of America Christmas Pageant and other productions throughout the year. If you would like to try us out, we would love to have you join us at our regularly scheduled rehearsal on Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm in Celebration Hall (A222). No audition is required, just a heart of faithfulness!

“Play skillfully with a shout of joy.” – Psalm 33:3b

Christians are instructed to worship and praise our Heavenly Father through song and instruments, and the orchestra helps lead in weekly Sunday worship. We are a family of musicians who enjoy worshiping Jesus with excellence each week during our blended Sunday morning worship service and special events throughout the year.

The orchestra is open to anyone high school aged and above who is able to play the music in our library. Experience level typically needed is three to four years of playing. We rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm in the orchestra room (A213). New musicians are always welcome.

WAM (1st-6th Grade)

WAM is Worship, Arts, Music and is proving to be a big hit with our 1st-6th graders. Kids get to choose their small group from areas like drama, dance, media, solo coaching, art and instruments. In addition to the small group of their choice, everyone goes to choir each week. WAM runs from September through December, culminating with a concert in November and our annual Christmas program in December. In January, we begin our spring musical to be presented in May.

WAM meets Sundays from 5:00-6:30pm.

WAM Jr. is for children age 3 (by July 31) through kindergarten. The children present two mini-musicals each year, each revolving around a different theme. Preschoolers sing in our end-of the year program in May and at various other times throughout the year.

WAM Jr. meets Sundays from 5:00-6:30pm.
