NEW! If you are looking for an at-home experience, check out Create-A-Kit!

Arts, Sports, Music, and More!

Create-A-Camp is a mash up of all things kids love! It is Vacation Bible School, Fine Arts Camp, and Sports Camp all rolled into one. No more running all over town week after week, paying fee after fee to get your kid involved in summer activities. We’re having one awesome week-long camp where your kids will get strong biblical teaching as well as quality instruction in sports and arts.

Your child will get to create their own camp experience by choosing two activities to EXCEL in everyday. They will also get the added bonus each day to EXPLORE other activities. Create-A-Camp includes daily age-graded small group exalt Bible study classes. Opening and closing worship rallies will excite kiddos, and campers will express themselves in a musical performance the whole family will enjoy.

Create-A-Camp is a full-day experience from 8:30am-4:30pm the week of July 5-9 for kids who have completed Pre-K-6th graders. Cost for the entire week is $70 (lunch included).

Important Changes for 2021

As a way to make Create-A-Camp as safe and as fun as possible, we are making the following changes for 2021:
  • 1st-6th grade campers will choose Excel class pairings instead of a morning Excel class and an afternoon Excel class. Campers will remain with their Excel class pairing group (up to 10 campers and 2 leaders) all day instead of switching to a different group in the afternoon.
  • We are limiting the amount of camper spots to ensure adequate social distancing in our large group and small group settings.
  • Boxed lunches will be served in your child’s classroom rather than cafeteria style.
  • Safety guidelines (see below) will be enforced for all campers and leaders.
  • We’ve moved Family Night back to Friday, and we’re also making some changes in order to accommodate all of our campers and families safely.
  • We are unable to accept walk-in registrations during camp this year. Registration ends on Sunday, June 13.

2021 Excel Classes

Pre-K and kindergarten campers will stay with the same small group and the same Tour Guide all day, every day. All Pre-K/K kids go to art, music, and VBS in the morning. Each afternoon, they will go to their Excel class and Explore other classes. Pre-K/K campers choose ONE Excel class (from the list below) for the week. Class sizes are limited and fill on a first come, first served basis!

Maintain social distancing from the time you arrive at camp to the time you leave.

Wear a mask for the duration of your time on the Connection Point campus.

Keep your child home if they have COVID-19 symptoms, test positive, are awaiting test results, or have been exposed to someone with symptoms or someone who has tested positive or is awaiting test results.

Follow directional signs to ensure you enter and exit through appropriate doors.

Following instructions from staff and volunteer leaders to ensure every camper and family has a safe and enjoyable Create-A-Camp experience.

Volunteer

It takes over 100 volunteers to make Create-A-Camp possible. Would you like to be part of the team? No experience required. We just ask that you are over the age of 13 and have a heart to serve and have fun with some amazing kids at camp. All volunteers are required to fill out a background check and attend a training session before Create-A-Camp.
