Milestone Sports Camp

July 24-27, 2023

Milestone Sports Camp brings together children in the inner city to learn about Jesus through sports and familiarizes them with Milestone Youth Center so they have a safe place to come throughout the year to further their relationship with Christ.

It takes over 100 people to make the camp at Milestone Youth Center great! Here are several opportunities for you to get involved with taking the gospel to the world around you:

Ways to Volunteer

  • Drive bus daily
  • Serve lunch or dinner daily
  • Provide lunch or dinner
  • Check in/out kids daily 
  • Water stations
  • Bonus round - middle school/high school
  • Share devotions with kids
  • Small group leader
  • Cleaning
  • Praying
  • Help with Family Night (Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm)
    • Grill 
    • Serve/Prepare Meal
    • Pass out shoes
    • Set up & clean up
  • Friday clean up

Volunteer Details
  • Each volunteer is encouraged to donate $25 to helps cover food and gas for the week.
  • Wear a Connection Point shirt each day. If you don’t have one, you may purchase a Connection Point volunteer shirt for $10.
  • If you need transportation to and from Milestone, that can be arranged.

Shoes & School Supplies
These kids play hard all summer and will need a new pair of shoes and school supplies as the summer winds down, and they head back to school. Help set these kids up for success by donating new tennis shoes in child and adult sizes and new school supplies. Donations can be dropped off at the Connect Center in the main lobby or at the reception desk in the ROC during the week through June 30.
